Ro Ro from RoCo Wine & Spirits in Sacramento teamed up with his buddy Ron from Peacock Market in Clovis to select this special Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond barrel.

Two independent whiskey retailers doing their thing at opposite ends of California’s Central Valley corridor — coming together over what brought us both here in the first place: great whiskey.

And we didn’t get much.

🥃 Tasting Notes

👃 Nose: Warm vanilla bean, honey, buttery caramel and toasted oak open the glass, followed by hints of butterscotch, cinnamon and barrel char.

🥃 Palate: Rich caramel and creamy vanilla coat the palate with layers of brown sugar, toffee and baking spice. A touch of rye spice cuts through the sweetness before seasoned Kentucky oak brings everything together.

🔥 Finish: Long, warm and satisfying — lingering caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, toasted oak and a final kiss of char.
