After over a year of waiting, RoCo is proud to bring back another barrel from John J. Bowman — this time, we had the rare chance to taste and choose between 9, 11, and 11.5-year-old barrels. Our team selected the 11-year for its outstanding complexity and balance.

This barrel was evaluated at full cask strength but proofed down to exactly 100 proof to highlight the deep layers of flavor while keeping it dangerously drinkable. RoCo is known across the country for elite barrel picks — and this is no exception.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Cooked berries, warm caramel, vanilla custard, and baking spices.

Palate: Bold spice upfront with notes of dark cherry, brown sugar, apricot, cinnamon, and toasted oak.

Finish: Long and warming with pepper, dried fruit, caramel drizzle, and a touch of tobacco.
